I also was wondering when I would receive this book. But it was well worth the wait the pictures are breath taking and it makes me happy to think that the net profits are going towards helping these people. I did cry to the paragraph in the back from Jared its so eye opening. It may seem like a tad much but its well worth it every fan of 30STM and people that would like to help these poor people should own a copy. Also makes me fall in love with photography all over again.

THE PHOTO'S IN THIS BOOK ARE STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL,BUT EXTREMELY TOUCHING AND SAD AT THE SAME TIME.THE FACT THAT JARED FOUND THE PLACE WHERE HE USED TO LIVE FOR A SHORT WHILE WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER, MUST OF BEEN QUITE EMOTIONAL FOR HIM TO SEE IT THE WAY IT IS NOW. I RECOMMEND YOU BUY THIS BOOK WHILE IT'S STILL AVAILABLE TO HELP IN SOME SMALL WAY AS IT APPALLING THAT THIS SMALL ISLAND IS STILL IN SO MUCH DEVASTATION NEARLY 3 YEARS ON.

Haiti Photo Book - Inspiring and surprising! To call this a photo book almost diminishes its impact. I’d heard the news reports describing the deviation Haiti suffered, but the news is easy to ignore or forget. The images Jared captured makes it difficult to ignore what has and is happening to the people of Haiti. Yes, the photos are beautiful, but a deeper look reveals so much more. Jared shows us the devastation and a country trying to rebuild itself. Most importantly he shows us a culture with an incredibly strong sprit and will to survive. He shows us children playing and finding something to laugh about, if only for a moment. Their strength amazes and inspires me. Thank you JL. I am grateful that the purchase of this book will help Haiti, but I feel I need to do more. I encourage others to purchase this photo book. I can’t think of an easier way to help Haiti plus you have this beautiful and inspiring book.

Maybe it sounds like a cliche but "a picture can describe more than words". When words fail to describe a situation, a feeling or an experience. Thanx for showing all this and moreover, a personal view! Some things you have to see to believe. It was worth the wait and for the responsible the hard work. passion and love :-)

One word for this book - BREATHTAKING! 1. Beautiful images 2. Truly highlights the devestation still existing in Haiti 3. A MUST BUY!

Incredible!! The quality and variety of the photos is astounding! Intimate portraits, panoramic landscapes, smiling children in the streets, and piles of rubble that were once peoples' homes, just to name a few. My heart goes out to all the Haitians who are still recovering from this tragic event, and I'm SO glad that I could help just a little by purchasing this book. The price may be shocking for some, but when it goes to such a great cause I'd be willing to spend TWICE as much! In fact, I think I'll probably buy another one for a friend. Spreading great art and awareness. You may think you've heard everything about Haiti from the news, but you haven't seen the full story until you've seen it through Jared's eyes and camera lens.

I have preordered mine and I saw the final cover art last night/tonight on the VyRT and it was amazing, I am so glad I have preordered it, it was worth the wait to have such a beautiful book added to my collection. :') thank you so much for allowing me to have this opportunity! :)

I am very much looking forward to purchasing this book. I greatly appreciate this opportunity to make a purchase that will go towards helping the people in this book. With all the things we have in our lives we really have to take a look at the pure volume of possessions we own or have owned in the past. It is my educated guess that the majority have low end 90% more than the people of Haiti do. So if you think this book is expensive take a moment to recognize how much you have and how much was spent on all of it and then compare it to the children of Haiti. We are all trying to live happy successful lives but the people of Haiti are still working on surviving. Perhaps we all could do more than just purchase this book. I bought this book on Jan 14, 2011. I admit there were times I wondered if this book would ever come to fruition. But once again Jared's perfectionism shines through with every page. From the 1st words Jared wrote to the last I had tears in my eyes. Every picture tells a story on top of the blurbs here & there. Its truly a beautiful book. One I am proud to own. #HAITI

I'm so sorry for not being able to purchase this amazing book, bacause I'm still jobless, unfortunately. But hope to have another chance in the future and buy something really awesome like this and help people in need like those in Haiti

I really wish I could buy this amazing book. However I can't. That being said I truly wish aswell that this book will be a huge succes so that many good people of HAITI will get the help they all so deserve . From what you have showed us at VyRT Jared it look so beautiful with all these amazing pics of these beautiful people. Through the pics you can feel the vibes of strengh and courage. Even the little bits you've showed I could tell its a book that tells stories of lifes being shattered, of pain and sorrow, of lost...big losses. But also of strengh, surviving, hope, believe, courage and perseverance . I wish for it to be a very big succes and for you I say Jared Thank you for being who you are...a very good human being. xo And who knows..maybe some day I can hold this breathtaking book in my hands myself and do a little..just a little bit for Haiti myself by doeing so. ?
